Hi there,

Khalidine is a roleplay PW for NWN2, which exists in its own custom setting. We're currently in closed alpha, and are looking for people to help get us through to open beta and beyond. The project has been under development since April of last year; and existed before that as "Dragon Well" for several years under NWN1.

Here are some of the basics:

    * A unique world with its own history and pantheon.
    * Extensive lore which is revealed primarily through game play
    * Open-ended. DMs present you with situations -- it's up to you how your PC will handle those.
    * A short list of easy-to-follow rules, reflecting the mature nature of our intended audience.
    * Zero-tolerance for rules abuse. DMs don't wish to spend their time babysitting those whose idea of "fun" is to ruin the game for others; as such, those individuals will not be tolerated on the server.
    * Consensual PvP -- even at the expense of a bit of realism, we require that explicit consent be given by all involved parties before PvP can take place. Griefing, of course, is not tolerated.
    * Custom yet easy-to-use merchant and currency system.
    * D&D 3.5-based crafting. Your character won't get obscenely rich off of crafting, but s/he could definitely earn a decent living and then some.
    * Post beta, we will be introducing a wide range of web-based tools including public and private character journals, merchant management, and more.

We have openings in nearly all areas - writers (quests, dialog, lore, and other), artists, area artists (builders), scripters, web developers (java, php), toolset plugin developers (C#/.Net) etc. You can look here for a complete list of available positions. For a bit more about the philosophy behind the server itself, take a look at this page.

Please PM me if interested or if you have questions; or feel free to post the questions here if you think others would be interested in the answers.
