Ray looks out the window and see's the lightning strike's "awesome!" he shouts out, Ray takes out his wallet and throws a few hundred dollars towards Blair "that should cover for the damage im about to cause" Ray charges through the high rise apartment window, glass shattering all around him, he raise is arms while in a free fall and fly's towards the source.

"Is it me,or was that really stupid?" laughs Chris, "seriously, flying out into a lightning storm, I hope he gets zapped," he mutters flinging bits of glass out the broken window.

James let a crackle of electricity flicker between his fingers.

"Yeah, that is really stupid. Ah well, if he gets fried it's no great loss."

He took another swig of gin and smiled.

"That son of a bitch just broke my window!"

Looking down Blair noticed the money that Ray had thrown to her.

"This is only four hundred dollars... Thats glass is from Armenia.. It cost five thousand dollars.. not to mention the installation fees..."

Blair walked over to the window. She could still see Ray, but he was slowly disappearing from view.

"COME BACK HERE!!"

Chauncey Edwarton the 3^rd looked up into the sky, the lightning had just hit a house,
"meh" he said out loud, it's better than getting sacrificed on a pentagon by that cult he thought to him self, as he walked down the street it started to rain, lightly at first but it started to pick up,
"hope the folks there are into death metal, or at least atheist"
Chauncey started walking down the street in his rain soaked trench coat,
"that hit only..........two Blocks away?, well I guess that will only get 20 people wanting to skewer Satan, unless that group of weird folks in the white robes catches up "

James finished his drink and looked at the others.

"He had a point though, that's a pretty interesting lightning formation. I've never seen anything like it. Maybe we ought to check it out."

He cocked an eyebrow at Blair.

"Either way, you'll be able to get your money back. Someone who can throw around $100 bills around like that should have plenty more on them, and I doubt pickpocketing is a real effort when you're super fast."

"I may commit some crimes here and there but I never steal... money."

Backing away from the window Blair pointed towards the storm.

"Lets go investigate. Its 3:00 PM, the skies were clear, and the weather forecast said it would be sunny all day. That storm came out of nowhere."

"Sure better than sitting in the penthouse," Chris scoffs dropping a bit of infused glass out the window.

"I should stop flinging things out that window, I might kill someone," he mumbles after the small boom resonates upwards.

James grinned.

"Alright, let's go. I want to see whatever's doing that, maybe I cam pick up some new tricks."

He turned as he heard the boom.

"I wish you'd stop doing that."

"It never gets old," sighs Chris, "besides, I can't help it sometimes."

He shrugs at James, "so how we getting there?"

Half a block left, and a small crowd was gathering around him. Then a minister started to dire
"Be gone spawn of hell! we people of GOD!!"
Chauncey picked up the minister by the shoulders of his gown.
"Listen you self Righteous B*stard! it's only 3:00 PM and I've had a day almost equal to the first Easter! I AM NOT A DEVIL!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" he roared when he said it roaring and the crowd started to back off, "Heh" He grinned, that aouta keep them off me. But I bet poeple heard that from at least a block away.

Hearing Chris' question, James turned to Blair.

"Limo?"

Blair smiled widely.

"Of course."

Walking towards the door Blair opened it and gestured for the others to follow.

James smiled back as he exited the apartment before turning and gazing wistfully back at the lavish furnishings.

"It's a shame really, I could get used to digs like that."

He sighed, shaking his head.

Ray lands on the roof of building where the lightning seems to be coming from he, turns his attention towards the Robot
"Hey" Ray calmly say's as he begins to lite another cigar "wactha' doin up here"
what the fuck is wrong with this city? Ray thinks to himself

'Looks like more folks were investigating as well' Chauncey thought to himself
the crowd gratefully cleared slowly as he approached though, it would still take a while though
"hmm, might as well listen some 'soothing songs'"
he choose a random song on his I-pod

Lupo continued waiting,

She has to come down eventually, she cannot stay in her high-in-the-sky house forever.

Just as he finished, Blair and the other heroes emerged from the elevator and began heading toward the door. Lupo ears pricked up and his tail began flicking from side to die, he wanted to throw himself off of the woman but knew he couldn't.

it would only scare her of me further, I must control my urges, but... she is so... ravishing.

With a howl he dove out of the shadows and pounced on Blair, catching her off guard.

"I have no clue," said Amy, frowning slightly. "We could try getting her attention, though to the danger of our identities. I-"

She paused, staring out the window over Shifty's shoulder. Her mouth opened into a small 'O' and she pointed. Arcs of lightning, eerie and seemingly unnatural, sprang like swift dancers upon a rooftop not too far away. She looked towards her fellow companions, seeming satisfied.

"I think Supergirl has found us first. Anyone up for a cab ride?"

The lightning streaming from Threewords now was magnificent. It was rising into the sky and exploding through the clouds in time with the music. She'd seen this power, witnessed it's effects first hand and it still impressed her.

Looking about the city she could see the people reacting. Running to see the thunderous booms reaching into the clouds. And a super approaching and landing next to them. One? Is that it? "What are we doing? We're gathering the supers..." She smiled.

"sounds cool" Ray calmly say's while lighting a cigar "i think the others are going to be a little late, i believe im the only one that doesn't require a limo to get place's........useless shitheads"

the crowds were almost manic caught between the desires to see the amazing display of lightning and run from the 7 ft tall devil slowly advancing to the center of the crowd
surprisingly enough riots hadn't broke out yet even with Chauncey getting ever so closer
"this really isn't natural" he said as he took out his headphones.

"hey super girl, you might want to keep your guard up, the two supers who almost killed each other are probably going to show up" Ray say's while smoking the cigar

"why are you gathering super's?"

Ryan gazed out the window at the strange lighting bolts. "Yea, you might be right, but then again it might be something more... ominous..." he said, still staring at the spectacle. "We better take this slow. Have the cab drop us off a block away, then get on the roof of a nearby building and watch for a minute, y'know to make sure it actually is supergirl." He turned back to the others.

"Sound good? I can get us across the roofs if it is her and we want to join her, so that won't be a problem."
