Let's see if we can't get a few people to post in this forum.

When you play Neverwinter's main campaign, do you use any cheats at all, or do you play the game legitly?

Personally, I've never cheated in NWN2 because I found it was easy enough the entire game through. Plus, I really hate cheating unless there's absolutely no other alternative (Contra III, I'm looking at you).

Cheating makes any game lose its luster and negates the whole purpose. NEVER!

I've cheated once when I was bored...

I don't know, I quite enjoy cheating in the Grand Theft Auto series.

In the first NWN I didn't cheat, but I wanted a cheat so I could kill the children.

I report badge farmers so that way they can't get their precious Matrix badges, among others. Abide by our rules, and do not spam up areas just because you think they're dead. I read dead areas frequently to report badge farming, as it's strongly frowned upon, and necroing is against the rules.

Cheating is usually boring and shows lack of character

It seems to me that modern arguing is more about focusing on your strong points and the weak points of your opponents rather than a quest for knowledge and wisdom.

This. Nothing like infinite ammo as you mow down thousands of people.
I never cheated in NWN2 though. It wasn't very hard in the first place, as the OP said.

I've not cheated in a game in a while. There were games it was fun to cheat at a little, but it gets old after a while. I'd have to agree with cheating in GTA, though. Always a but of rampaging fun to be had.

"Ultimately, the choice before the American people is the choice between two visions: on the one hand, the policies of limited government, economic growth, a strong defense, and a firm foreign policy; and on the other hand, policies of tax and spend, economic stagnation, international weakness and accommodation, and always, always, from them, 'Blame America first.' It's the choice between the policies of liberalism or the policies of America's political mainstream." -Ronald Reagan

I used cheat codes once in Baldurs Gate 2...ruined the game for me. Never again.

NWM2 wasn't difficult, but I just had to be able to craft the Headband of Intellect plus something, I knew I had to run to some store to get the necessary ingredients, but I had already been playing for such a long time, that I decided ticking the code would be easier.

I only cheat to avoid having to run around for hours, where absolutely no skill is required in doing so. I wouldn't feel any satisfaction from it, just because a two year old would have managed to do the same. Therefore, I don't feel guilty and my experience isn't ruined in any way.

I bumped up the party size limit for the OC. Just had a hard time choosing between companions since they all had something funny or interesting to say.

Most of my plans end with "it seemed like a good idea at the time"

I will generally only ever use cheats after playing the game to death.

Is it ok to cheat by lowering your stats to make the game harder, because I've done that before.

I cheat occasionally. Mainly, I just use the debug thing to see where all the traps are, though.

The first step to being right all of the time is to realize that you're wrong most of the time.

I've done it a few times, but only give myself lots of xp, so I could easily try out high level builds without having to go through the whole game again.

But not when I'm seriously playing the story mode.

Why cheat? There is absolutely no good reason for it. If you do I, immediately dub you a 10 year old who wants to feel good about themselves.
