Neverwinter Nights 2: SAGA Project Interview with NWN Podcast

Fu'Miga let us know that the SAGA Project has conducted another interview, this time with the folks from Neverwinter Nights Podcast.

Here's a teaser:

Greetings NWNP team, I'm glad you guys decided to accept the torture of an interview. So, with first things first, when and how did you come up with this original idea of creating NWNP?

Image[NWNP] After playing Neverwinter Nights 1 Multiplayer for about 18 months we started playing some of the next generation games that were being released. One of the games we started playing was Battlefield 2. We found that there was a podcast for it, which made us start searching for podcasts about other games we were interested in. With the release of NWN 2 still several months away we started listening to the WOW Podcast, GuildCast, and the Battlefield Podcast. I then started searching for a podcast dedicated to Neverwinter Nights, and was surprised to find out that there wasn't one. Trey and I have been working on media productions at our church for some time, and Trey started podcasting their services. So, naturally we started joking about doing a Neverwinter Nights Podcast. When the NWN 2 release was about a month out we decided that it would be the perfect time to start a podcast. So we scrambled for the next few weeks getting the domain and site setup and scored a major interview with Annie Carlson. We released our first episode with the Annie Carlson interview the same week that NWN 2 released and have been trying to make it better ever since.

And one more for fun:

[SAGA] What exactly would you say your goal to be?

[NWNP] Our main goal is to be an avenue for information, a place that someone new to the game or someone that's been playing for a long time can listen, learn, and hopefully be entertained for about 45 minutes a week. Not sure anyone could stand us for much longer . Our hope is that the Neverwinter Nights community will embrace this new medium and contribute ideas to make the podcast what they want it to be.
