A PRC hakpak is on its way according to PRC leader Stratovarius. In an interview at The Vault, Stratovarius gives some details on what his team is working on for NWN 2:
3) What are the differences that the NWN2 version will offer? What are some of the really exciting offerings?
Well, the primary difference is the one that all Neverwinter fans have noticed, simply by changing from NWN to NWN2: There is no longer epic level support for the moment. This means that all of our epic level content, including the Epic Spell System, Epic Prestige Classes, epic levels for base and prestige classes, feats, crafting, and so on, will all be disabled until such time as epic levels reappear in NWN2. We do expect that to happen, and when it does so, all PRC epic content will be reactivated for your playing pleasure. Also, because of some bugs currently existing in NWN2 with regards to races, there will likely not be any races until they are fixed by Obsidian. Once they are, the PRC Races will return, augmented with new additions.
Aside from that minor loss, there will be few visible differences. Much of the code and 2das upon which the PRC relies will be updated under the hood, but that is not readily apparent to the casual eye. All content that it is possible to bring forward from PRC 3.1 will appear in PRC2 1.0, giving players the wealth of options they are accustomed to in NWN1 while playing with the PRC.
However, once the initial release is complete, and we are satisfied that the code has withstood the rigorous changes from NWN1 to NWN2, we will begin development of new content again, highlights of which are the Tome of Battle Blade Magic system, Weapons of Legacy, Magic of Incarnum, and finishing the Tome of Magic content.
